Our project ihavelost.com
is designed to become a source of hope to many people ! Our aim is in a quicker and more secure way to help finding those who are missing not only within Turkey but also worldwide. Thus, separated families will reunite and lost relatives will come together. You can use our website or download our mobile apps to help finding the losses with the help of other responsivepeople. You can review the loss ads in your area and help in their research by means of mobile applications. You can receive the monetary reward (if it is announced) for the found loss. You can help us by sharing this project with your friends and loved ones. SOME PRECAUTIONS YOU CAN TAKE BEFORE YOUR CHILD OR RELATIVE GETS LOST:
Never think that this will never happen to you!
Always have with you recent photos of your relatives.
Get samples of your fingerprints.
Get to know the friends and families of your loved ones. Have a notebook with names, phone numbers and addresses of your relatives` or children`s friends. If possible, learn their work phone numbers.
Create a special ID card for your child and convince him to carry it permanently.
Keep something that will determine the DNA of your child/relative (blood stain, hair, etc.) and note when it was taken.
Specify how your relatives and friends can get in touch with you. Add this information to your child`s ID card. THINGS YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU THINK SOMEONE OF YOUR RELATIVES IS LOST
Check the families of your child's or friends` friends and let them know he/she is missing.
Notify his or her work, school or kindergarten.
Check his/her friends and neighbours.
If you do not get any results, call the police. Insist on keeping the report and get the file number. This file number will be very important in the future.
Check back on the list of your child`s or relative`s families. Try to find out who and where has seen your child/relative last. Your can begin the researches from the place where he or she was last seen.
Know what your child or relative was wearing last.
If you have old childhood friends or military friends, ask for their help too, they can try to contact your child`s friends.
Do not wait until tomorrow to do things you can do today.
Call the police and learn the developments about the matter in detail.
Apply to regional service groups.
Keep constantly someone at home to reply incoming phone calls. Make your outcoming calls using another line.
Don`t be embarrassed and do not hesitate to ask for help, it may happen in every family.
